The Code of Dinotopia can be found by clicking on the 'Code of Dinotopia' link in the upper left part of the main header. Note that this is the original code as it appeared in the books. The code was warped a bit for the miniseries but we tend to stick with the original, which is this one:
Survival of all or none One raindrop raises the sea Weapons are enemies even to their owners
Give more, take less Others first, self last Observe, listen, and learn Do one thing at a time
Sing every day Exercise imagination Eat to live, don't live to eat Don't p..

"Hope" is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul And sings the tune without the words And never stops at all.

No, it was screwed up from the start in the miniseries, because they put One Raindrop as the first, and moved Survival to the second. Apparently the writers had zero concept of the real purpose of the whole code. Changing the arrangement, and changing the last one.
My sister though does something interesting. She drops the broken "Don't p..." and splits the second to last code in half.
Sing every day Excercise imagination Eat to live Don't live to eat
bricabrach: Hi Ben, welcome to our forum. What’s often been recommended in the past is to see what your item has been selling for on eBay.

applejack: Hi Kivuli. There's plenty of cross-pollination of members between the various Dinotopia forums, so the names you see here and on other boards are almost certainly the same people. Welcome to the official message board!

Kivuli: I've seen this list posted on other boards. This one seems to have the most activity. Is this a migration of the same users?

cptstarlight: Dinotopia, like returning to the company of an old friend. Should old friends be forgot and never thought upon? I think not.

bricabrach: And yes! There's nothing like Dinotopia! Breathe deep, seek peace.

DinoAnon: Remember to uphold personal honour and find your own glory in the world and your traditions. Halcyon and the Knights of the Unrivaled could have done no less. Good bye, Dinotopia.

DinoAnon: So to old friends long gone, to times in the past, and with my dearest wishes of positivity in your lives, this is Steven/Lellywin from Canada saying farewell. Breathe deep. Seek peace. Good luck to you all.

DinoAnon: Spending time with Dinotopians. And how much more wonderful and magical the world was.

DinoAnon: Look at the last Jurassic Park films, still stuck in middle 90's dino science, still such corny nonsense. I think about what we could have had, and it frustrates me, but at the same time I am greatful for the years I spent among Dinotopians...

DinoAnon: And I have to really wonder how something so special and unique lost its footing in popular culture. There will *never* be anything like Dinotopia, especially as media marches on and continues to provide us such thoughtless and violent garbage.

DinoAnon: I remember 1995 and the glorious high point of The World Beneath and the exciting world of Dinotopia being explored. I look around now in a decaying fandom, though you don't need a fandom to enjoy something...
